are SUV's considered "compact" cars?  i don't think they are.  many people seem to believe that they are though.  one would expect that a parking spot market "compact" would indicate that it is intended for "compact" cars.  not so, because people with SUV's don't care.  they'll park wherever they want.  or maybe, i'm taking crazy pills and "compact" doesn't really mean anything.
